Demand Planning Analyst| Ripley| Salary - £40000 - £45000
Cherry Professional are currently working with a market leading Manufacturing company. They are looking for a Demand Planning Analyst to join their close knit and thriving team. You will play an integral role in building and managing the relationship between the Commercial & Supply Chain teams, being a key doer/facilitator in the S&OP cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Support communication to the commercial teams and service recovery & reviewing forecast consumption week by week.
- Preparing unconstrained forecasts to be reviewed by Sales, Marketing (and customers) and provide input/modifications.
- Reaching a common plan with marketing, sales, financial, and supply chain views and agreement on market assumptions. Input on Product lifecycle changes, particularly new product launch plans
- Cleaning and preparation of sales history to generate a statistical forecast including use of algorithms
- Compile and review weekly/monthly reporting and interrogation of Demand Planning KPI's & commentary analysis.
- Attend project meetings for NPD/EPD & SKU Exits to ensure forecast alignment.
- Facilitate Inventory Health discussions with various commercial markets across Europe.
- Supporting the S&OP cycle by preparing for and facilitating Demand Review meetings (Step 2) and updates into Supply Review (Step 3)
- Generating the base forecasts on a monthly basis and interrogate key forecast trends to highlight potential risks/opportunities within the forecast.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong Analytical skills, able to use multiple data sources to understand trends.
- Process Orientated but also able to flexible and adaptable to change.
- Good at building relationships and being able to influence different stakeholders.
- Able to bring clarity to complex or ambiguous situations.
- Good presentation skills, particularly being able to be clear and concise.
- S&OP and/or SAP Experience desirable but not essential.
