IDEX Consulting is proud to be retained for the search of an experienced Insurance Account Executive specialising in real estate residential insurance. This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven professional to join a dynamic team, either based in London or in a dedicated region with the flexibility of hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of real estate residential clients, understanding their unique insurance needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • New Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the real estate residential sector, focusing on expanding the client base and growing revenue.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with clients to understand their strategic objectives, providing expert advice on risk management and insurance solutions that align with their goals.
  • Technical Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of real estate residential insurance to advise clients on policy options, coverage, and placement strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including underwriters and claims advocates, to ensure seamless service delivery and optimal client outcomes.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes within the real estate and insurance sectors to provide clients with the most current and relevant advice.
  • Client Retention: Implement strategies to maintain high levels of client satisfaction and retention, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Compliance: Ensure all client interactions and transactions comply with industry regulations and internal policies, maintaining high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in insurance account management, with a strong focus on real estate residential insurance.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the real estate residential insurance market, including key players, products, and regulatory requirements.
  • Professional Qualifications: ACII or similar industry qualifications are preferred, but not essential for candidates with strong relevant experience.
  • Client-Focused: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record of successful new business development within the insurance sector.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, with the flexibility to travel to client meetings and the office as needed.
