Trainee Sales Manager

As Trainee Sales Manager you will be joining a global brand leader. With a bespoke training programme, you will be learning all about the product, delivering exceptional customer service and excelling in sales along with running a profitable retail centre. This role is all about developing business opportunities, managing and building relationships. Based in Manchester this role is full time and permanent, Mon to Fri offering a starting salary of circa £27,000 and an OTE of £32,000.

Key Accountabilities for the Trainee Sales Manager:

  • Drive your self development by engaging with the training programme
  • Undertake retail and customer service activities within the companies shop to optimise and exceed sales targets, profitability and customer satisfaction
  • Identifying and researching new business leads
  • Grow customer accounts via targeted cold and warm calling
  • Visiting customers weekly
  • Manage cash and payment systems in accordance with company procedures and policies
  • Assisting customers with sales, queries and after sales service
  • Conduct stock takes as requested
  • Re-stocking/replenishing items
  • Understand the range of company products
  • Administration of sales orders received
  • Administer any returns
  • Handle parts enquiries
  • Attend training, meetings and company events onsite and at head office
