The successful Technical Publications Assistant is to create and maintain customer-facing, product-based technical documentation, such as data sheets, manuals, sales literature, and drawings, using the Adobe Creative Suite of programs.
Using the Adobe Creative Suite:
- Create and maintain technical documentation for switching and simulation products, such as data sheets, manuals, and user guides.
- Support product development teams in creating documentation for new products and product proposals.
- Create and maintain product-based sales literature.
- Prepare drawings for data sheets, manuals, user guides, and sales literature.
General:
- Perform any other duties that contribute to the smooth running of the department.
To be successful in this role of Technical Publications Assistant we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:
- BTEC level 3 or equivalent in Electronics
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite of programs preferred
- Working in a technical office environment would be advantageous but not essential
- An appreciation of the technical aspects of electronic product design would be advantageous
