Class 2 Driver
Location: High Wycombe
Salary: £38,000 per annum
Hours: 5am to 2pm, 40 hours per week (flexibility required)
Type: Permanent, Full-time
Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver with a passion for delivering excellent customer service? We have an exciting opportunity for a committed individual to join a dynamic transport team in High Wycombe. If you have experience in multi-drop deliveries and a good knowledge of London, we want to hear from you!
About the Role:
- Ensure the safe and efficient transportation of goods.
- Work as part of a team to provide excellent customer service.
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries in a safe and timely manner.
- Follow routes correctly and deliver orders on time.
- Load your vehicle safely and securely.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with customers.
- Drive in and around London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently transport goods to various locations.
- Provide outstanding customer service during all customer interactions.
- Perform multi-drop deliveries to customers.
- Adhere to routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Load vehicles safely and securely.
- Uphold a high standard of service quality for customers.
- Maintain positive working relationships with team members and customers.
- Navigate London routes efficiently.
Candidate Requirements:
- Good geographical knowledge, especially of London.
- Full clean driving license.
- Experience in multi-drop driving.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments while remaining calm.
- Proactive and methodical mindset.
- Experience using PDA devices.
- Punctual, flexible, and positive attitude.
- Familiarity with Working Time Directives (WTD) and driving hours regulations.
- Knowledge of defect reporting and vehicle walk-around checks.
