The work we do is underpinned by quality. We deliver audits which are trusted and transparent which can be relied upon by companies and their stakeholders.

You'll be someone who iscomfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with Senior Managers, Directors, and BDO's Partners. You'll help deliver accurate and transparent reporting to all relevant stakeholders as you provide long term value.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Working with key stakeholders in the Audit People & Culture (AP&C) team to develop and implement comprehensive induction programmes for our Early Careers (EiC) intake.?
  • Driving discussions and coordinate with various departments to facilitate the programme
  • Creating and maintaining materials for the one-day EiC Audit Welcome event, including slide decks and follow-up packs
  • Taking ownership of communications to our EiC intake, creating a timetable of communications and drafting relevant communications in advance for review by AP&C stakeholders
  • Coordinating all presenters for the EiC Audit Welcome event ensuring all are briefed accordingly, hold them to account for submitting their materials, and review content to ensure messaging is consistent and aligned to objectives for the day
  • Implementing risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential issues or challenges that may arise before or during the Audit Welcome event
  • Working closely specifically with the Partner responsible for the AP&C team and the Audit Culture Director to embed a culture of High Performing Teams within our Audit stream, aligning to a culture of quality
  • Taking ownership of the preparation of the information forming the Audit Culture Dashboard to ensure all KPIs are gathered from the relevant stakeholders to be reported in a timely manner
  • Managing the perpetual calendar of activities in place which support the embedding of High Performing Teams including as appropriate initiating annual launch of events, driving communications and seeking feedback on activities
  • Regularly reviewing and maintaining the AP&C Insite pages with current and accurate information, ensuring all content is relevant and timely.
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders to gather and verify key information
  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive reporting schedule, outlining deadlines and responsibilities for each report?
  • Taking responsibility for drafting elements of the reporting for review by the relevant AP&C team member
  • Ensuring the accuracy, integrity and consistency of all reported data by implementing quality control measures and validation processes
  • Supporting compliance with all relevant elements of ISQM1 by ensuring clear documentation of all relevant meetings and agreed actions across the AP&C team and associated projects

You'll be someone with:

  • Ability to proactively plan and organise work well, and ability to prioritise?
  • A track record of strong planning, project management and organisation skills including the ability to work autonomously in owning and delivering projects ?
  • Experience of excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; both written and oral?
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to be adaptable, work to tight deadlines and respond quickly if needed
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience of process improvement and being able to challenge current processes and implement efficiencies ??
