Area Sales Manager

Quick Staff UK is pleased to be recruiting an Area Sales Manager on behalf of an established retailer of industrial products and equipment. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining sales within the geographic area of South Wales, Mid-Wales, as well as small parts of the West of England. You will also monitor sales performance with the goal of expanding our company's market share. Your collaborative nature will help you succeed when co-ordinating with external Distributors as well as a dedicated Internal Sales Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Ability to oversee and complete Quarterly Sales Action Plans from the National Sales Manager.
  • Report all sales activities to the national Manager
  • Carry out sales calls in person and remotely
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and prospective customers
  • Carry out all basic sales tasks, including cold call, email, telephone interactions to arrange appointments and receipt of orders
  • Analyse Customer and Sales Reports
  • Time Management: Allocation and management of time to search for prospective clients as well as servicing existing customers and completing necessary administration tasks, e.g., quotes, orders.
  • Arrange demonstrations with customers and prospects.
  • Product knowledge: Our client will assist in product & application training, but the successful candidate will be expected to expand and refresh their own knowledge of the products our client sells and the relevant markets.

Key Requirements:

  • A competent level of Maths, English and Computer Literacy will be required to succeed in the role
  • Professionalism and strong work ethic
  • Team player
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • A UK driving licence
