Global IT Procurement Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global IT Category Manager to oversee the procurement, sourcing, and strategic management of IT-related products and services on a global scale.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective procurement strategies, negotiating contracts, and building strong relationships with IT Suppliers to ensure the organization's technology needs are met efficiently and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic IT and MSP Suppliers.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and performance standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT procurement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their technology needs and requirements.
- Oversee the creation and management of contracts for IT products and services.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and efficiency of IT procurement processes.
- Provide guidance and training to procurement teams and stakeholders on IT procurement best practices.
Required Background:
- Procurement, Strategic Sourcing & Category Management track record.
- Commercially savvy with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and gain buy-in.
- Strong understanding of IT products and services, market trends, and Supplier landscape.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards (ideally having knowledge of regulations in the US and Europe)
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.
Location
Hybrid with travel to the central London office
