We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursery Welfare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the welfare and development of children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. This role involves working closely with nursery staff to create a positive and inclusive environment for all children.
_The Role: _
- Attend to the personal, social, emotional and physical needs of pupils, including washing, toileting etc as required.
- Under supervision of the teacher or other staff, assist individual or groups of children in the nursery and ensure their safety and well being.
- To support children with their learning activities.
- Relay relevant information to the class teacher to support the updating of children's records/progress.
- Display and present the children's work, under the direction of the nursery teacher, so that it enhances the classroom environment and celebrates achievement.
_The requirements: _
- Previous experience within a nursery or early years setting is essential.
- Ability to reliably to commute to Macclesfield, SK11.
- Willing to undertake a DBS check
- someone who is willing to undertake the more involved tasks to ensure the well-being of all children.
