We are looking for a Shipping Coordinator for our client based in Bradford. This role is due to expansion and is based in their brand new manufacturing facility. The company is well established and a market leader in their industry.
This role would suit someone with experience of importing or exporting goods. Duties include organising the import of raw materials and export finished goods. A high level of accuracy is required for this position.
Main duties to include:
- Booking deliveries and collections with freight forwarders
- Tracking shipments and flagging any lost or delayed deliveries
- Ensure each shipment has the correct documentation
- Build relationships with freight forwarding companies
- Notify relevant parties if goods are lost or damaged
- Resolve issues with an rejected loads
We are looking for:
- Experience of working in a Shipping, Import or Export role
- Someone who is organised and can work to deadlines
- A proactive individual who sees tasks through to completion
- Strong administration skills and good attention to detail
