Description

Role Overview:

The Assistant Design Manager will support the Design Manager in all stages of the design process, from initial concept through to project completion. This role involves collaborating with various teams, managing project schedules, and contributing to effective design decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Process Oversight: Assist the Design Manager in supervising the entire design process, ensuring smooth progression from conception to completion.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with designers, engineers, project managers, and clients to achieve project objectives.
  • Project Scheduling: Help develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met and projects remain on schedule.
  • Research and Information Gathering: Conduct research and compile relevant information to inform and support design decisions.
  • Resource Management: Aid in managing design resources, including budget oversight and material allocation.
  • Design Reviews: Participate in design reviews, offering constructive feedback to team members to enhance the quality of work.
  • Client Communication: Assist with client interactions, addressing inquiries, and providing timely updates on project status.
  • Additional Duties: Support the Design Manager with other tasks and responsibilities as required.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Contribute to the development and maintenance of project plans, including defining project scope and objectives.
