Night Shift HGV/Truck Technician - Chester area
Our client, a rapidly growing company, are looking for an experienced Truck Technician / Mechanic for their night shift.
Tuesday to Friday 7pm to 7am - £20.58 per hour = £49227.36 per annum.
There may also be some bonus and overtime available on top of this.
You will be expected to continue providing an exceptional experience for the region's commercial vehicle community, driven by our customer's needs and inspired by the latest vehicle technology.

Job Summary:
The key purposes of your role is to:
- Act as an expert for all service work and defined assembly and work of the utmost quality and efficiency, and accordingly promotes the brand image with respect to reliability and economy.
- Defined retrofitting of accessories and preservation work.
- Support the Technicians in more extensive repair jobs on the overall system.
- Performance of all services according to the manufacturer's instructions and according to the schedule/Service processor.
- All visual inspections, adjustment operations, operating fluid changes and additions, replacement of worn equipment (e.g. brake linings).
- Knowledge of deviations and extraordinary wear occurrences and initiation of order expansions/feedback to customer.
- Performance of defined, but also more extensive, assembly work and repair operations in cooperation with and/or under the supervision of systems technicians (e.g. major assembly replacement, suspension strut placement, etc.).
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications for Technicians / Mechanics:
- Full City & Guilds qualifications - certified technician in an automotive service field (essential)
- UK Driving Licence (essential)
- HGV Licence (desired, not essential)
