Job Title: Workshop Plant Fitter
Location: Wembley
Pay rate: £15 - £22 per hour depending on experience
Our client is a leading Plant Hire company in the UK for heavy construction plant. They are seeking a skilled Plant Fitter to join their team in their Wembley workshop. Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on heavy mobile plant machinery
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform prompt repairs
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and longevity of equipment
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment history
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to coordinate maintenance schedules
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a plant fitter working on heavy construction plant
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices and techniques
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or overtime as needed
