Job Title: Van Delivery Driver

Contract Details: Full Time
Salary: £26,000 - £27,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Full Time
Responsibilities:
- Delivering and collecting equipment to and from customers, ensuring accurate completion of paperwork. This includes obtaining authorised signatures, noting damages, fuel levels, and correct equipment numbers.
- Starting machines on-site when requested.
- Performing basic vehicle maintenance to ensure the roadworthiness and safety of the vehicle. This includes carrying out daily vehicle checks in accordance with Group procedures.
- Checking equipment against paperwork received from the hire desk prior to delivery.
- Safely loading and unloading all equipment onto and from GAP vehicles. This includes strapping, chaining, and roping.
- Tagging up damaged equipment upon return to the depot and locating it in the correct area within the depot yard or workshop.
- Ensuring that digital Tachographs are used and downloaded in line with current legislation where applicable.
- Abiding by customer Health and Safety rules when on-site.
- Keeping the workshop and vehicle organised, clean, and tidy. Assisting with general workshop duties as and when required.
- Carrying out any other reasonable duties as deemed necessary by the Hire & Sales Coordinator/Foreman.
- Conducting FTA analysis and compliance reports.
