Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: Nottingham, NG3
Salary: £95 - £105 per day

LTF Recruitment are working with our partner mainstream secondary school, based in the Nottingham, NG3 area to appoint a motivated graduate to support students. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody hoping to gain more classroom-based experience.
Role Description:
This role will require you to support students, including those with special educational needs, working closely with classroom teachers to support student progress and development.
You will be:
- Working with students on a 1:1 and small group basis, to support their learning and development
- Managing classroom resources
- Supporting with managing behaviours
- Creating a positive learning environment for all students to learn and grow
- Track student progress, and report this back to relevant members of staff
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a school setting, or working with children/young people (this can be placement experience, or voluntary work)
- Awareness of potential barriers to learning
- A valid DBS and two references are a requirement for this role - we can support you with the application process for a DBS
