Day-to-day of the role:
- Set high expectations for learners to ensure they achieve their full educational potential.
- Establish challenging teaching and learning objectives that are relevant to all students in your classes.
- Demonstrate knowledge of various assessment approaches, including questioning, oral assessment, and self-assessment.
- Maintain a secure understanding of your subject(s) and related pedagogy to teach effectively at the Academy.
- Take responsibility for your professional development by reviewing your performance, acting upon advice/feedback, and staying informed about current developments in good practice.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
- Passion for creating an inclusive and inspiring learning environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the academy's values and ethos.
