Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for a number of Field Service Engineers to work for throughout the UK for our prestigious bluechip client.
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be working both individually and as part of a team on various customer sites around the UK (and Ireland).
Activities will include: health checks, servicing, supporting installation projects, warranty, breakdowns, operational/residential site cover.
This role will involve travelling nationwide (including Ireland), as well as some international travel.
Duties:
- You will be able to perform electrical and mechanical tasks including analytical troubleshooting, in a planned and reactive environment.
- Planned preventative maintenance as part of pre-agreed service contracts
- Supporting installation projects, modernisations and warranty work
- Attend breakdowns with the ability to troubleshoot, test and repair technical equipment
- Operational and residential site cover
- Working individually and as part of a team on various customer sites around the UK
- Low Level Controls: Siemens S7 PLC, TIA Portal, Profibus, ASi-Bus networks
In order to be considered for these roles, you must:
- Possess a high level of electrical / mechanical control knowledge
- Have ONC or equivalent in electrical industry and have previous experience in the industry.
- Have experience of or be able to quickly develop a knowledge of Siemens S7, TIA Portal or Profibus.
- Be flexible to travel nationally and occasionally internationally
- Have broad knowledge of material handling systems.
These are immediate roles.
- Salary £50k- £60k package.
- Location can be anywhere between London to North West
- Vehicle supplied ie van
- (48 hour working week) will include Nights/weekends
- Tools provided as part of role
