Altum Consulting are recruiting for an Intercompany Accountant to join a large Consumer business based in central London. This role is for an initial 3-month period and applying candidates must be available immediately.
Role:
- Perform an independent audit and reconciliation on the detailed intercompany matrix, including verification as to the appropriateness of the current process within NetSuite.
- Liaise with various internal stakeholders as part of the analysis, acting as the go to for the project.
- Summarise any actions and associated accounting entries required to align the intercompany between systems and individual accounting records.
- Review current processes and controls to ensure that they are optimal and operating effectively.
- Put forth recommendations to ensure all intercompany accounting transactions and processes are performed in compliance with applicable group accounting policies.
You'll be/have:
- Qualified Accountant with NetSuite experience.
- Prior experience of reconciling and settling intercompany balances with multi-currency FX and multiple subsidiary relationships is essential.
- Experience working in large complex businesses.
- Available immediately/short notice period.
