  • ..is to move into a new role. If the job board algorithms have done their job correctly, we have what you're looking for!

It's a 14-month contract, taking you into 2026, joining the Accounts team at a well-established, top-tier, 13-partner firm with over 90 professionals. We are nestled in London's Fitzrovia and have been delivering exceptional service to a wide variety of clients since 1934. One of our Accounts Managers is heading off on maternity leave soon, and we are looking for someone to hold the fort and take on her portfolio for 14 months (ideally starting in November/December 2024).

What does the role look like?

You'll be joining the second largest team at Goodman Jones LLP, our Accounts team. Working alongside another Accounts Manager, your focus will be on managing your own portfolio, overseeing accounts preparation, reviewing working paper files and accounts for final partner review, as well as VAT returns and some Corporation Tax work.

You'll also get involved in resource planning meetings, lead client meetings, and work closely with the Partners. You'll continue your mentoring and supervisory work, helping our junior team members develop while building strong client relationships—all alongside a friendly, motivated team.

Why Choose Goodman Jones LLP?

We're a firm that blends professionalism with a personable approach. You'll work in a team that values collaboration and personal growth. Plus, we offer flexibility—our hybrid working policy allows for 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. Our standard workweek is 35 hours, and we keep things flexible to fit your schedule.

We know it sounds like a cliché, but this really is an exciting time to become a part of Goodman Jones LLP. We are looking forward to an office move in a few weeks time (just around the corner to a modern, open-plan, loft-style space), we have recently launched a new careers section on our website, and we've expanded our People Team to support the growth and development of everyone in the firm.

Many of our Partners joined us as ambitious Seniors, Supervisors, or Managers—internal promotion and progression is something we are deeply passionate about. Feel free to check out our social media channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube, for more info on this.
