CCS | Compass Corporate Services have partnered with a specialist care organisation who provide residential support for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in the South West of England. We are looking for a passionate Maintenance Manager to join this exciting and growing business.
Overview
As the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for the repairs and operations of the group-wide property portfolio. You will ensure building and environments meet a high standard and initiate a proactive schedule of future works. You will also monitor maintenance standards including the performance of maintenance staff and external contractors at each of the properties.
You will need to have relevant maintenance experience ideally within a highly regulated sector with live sites. The company's success stems from consistent quality provided by the staff and you would be no exception.
Main Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and systems.
- Supervising maintenance employees
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and health and safety inspections for the forthcoming year.
- Undertake day to day maintenance tasks
- Project management of expansion projects
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
- Manage the facilities budget, monitor expenses, and optimise cost-efficiency.
- Manage existing and negotiate new contracts with service providers

Essential Criteria
- Must have a full UK driving licence and access to a car
- Qualified tradesperson builder / carpenter / electrician
- City and guilds Level 4 or higher in construction or equivalent
Desirable Criteria
- NEBOSH, IOSH and IWFM
- Previous experience in healthcare
