We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our retail team in Rochdale. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations and reporting, ensuring financial health and transparency.

Description
The key responsibilities of a Finance Officer will include, but may not be limited to;
- Manage financial transactions and reports
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
- Support the accounting department in budget preparation
- Conduct regular financial analysis
- Prepare balance sheets and invoices
- Report on financial status on a regular basis and create ad-hoc reports when needed
- Participate in financial audits
- Assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
Profile
A successful Finance Officer should have:
- Not for Profit and Charities background
- Ability to commute to Rochdale
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial software applications
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes
- Excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail
- Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team
