Sales Account Manager

Work Days - Part Time - Mon- Thurs 9.30am - 2.30pm

The successful candidate must be able to multi-task effectively, deliver to deadlines & have the confidence / gravitas to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

The Sales Executive/Account Manager New Business role is to sell a variety of digital opportunities throughout the website, and digital e-newsletters, to clients within their allocated sales area.

Working alongside the Sales team their role will be to assist in introducing the website as a potential platform for clients to actively engage with their target audience.

The ideal candidate will be accountable for all aspects of the sales process from research, initial call, presentation and negotiation, to the closing of an opportunity.

The Sales Executive will be required to take a range of digital advertising opportunities to the market place and sell to new customers.

Sales activity is to be conducted to meet individual quarterly targets and may be concluded by telephone, email and on-line meetings. It is also paramount the post holder participates in the Sales teams overall revenue targets being met.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for contacting all clients within allocated counties
  • To sell the benefits of enhancing their existing presence on our website to actively engage with our visitor traffic.
  • Plan, organise, and conduct on line meetings where necessary with prospective customers to maximise the value of accounts.
  • Achieve individual revenue targets and support overall company business objectives.
  • Contact clients to obtain up to date contact details and imputing information into CRM Dynamics, assuring all records are kept up to date and accurate.
  • Attend regular Sales/Editorial meetings to brainstorm for new ideas/topics which cater to the family market.
  • Research for leads to contact for specific targeted campaigns and save in relevant folders.
  • Work together with Editorial dept

Person Specification (Qualifications, Skills and Experience)

  • Professional telephone manner, excellent oral communication and attention to detail is paramount.
  • Good presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Well organised
  • Good IT skills - proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and CRM Dynamics would be ideal.

  • Drive and determination to persist and succeed and a willingness to take initiative.
  • Enthusiasm for selling the various aspects of the website and delivering website Tours on Teams when required.
  • Excellent personal organisation and time management skills are essential to this role.
