MacKenzie King are recruiting a temporary Commercial Accountant to support a business based in North Colchester during a period of excess workload. As a temporary Commercial Accountant, you must be a strong communicator and confident when liaising with clients.
Duties & Responsibilities to include:
- Preparation of management accounts (monthly), including accrual calculations and accounting adjustments, in accordance with relevant financial reporting standards & company policies.
- Providing variance analysis and commentary to all reports produced.
- Reconciliation of balance sheets (monthly) & their review, highlighting any risk.
- Preparation & presentation of weekly/ monthly cashflows.
- Effectively communicate financial data to non-financial managers.
- Providing high quality financial support to service heads in an accurate & timely manner.
- Sharing meaningful insights from large amounts of data and advising on the financial implications of any past or proposed business decisions.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA or Qualified By Experience
- Strong Communication skills
- Experience in a similar role
- Confident on Microsoft Excel
