This Housing Assistant post is a great opportunity in a great place to work, to make a positive difference to tenants housed by Southdown. It is very rewarding with plenty of learning opportunities to develop.
The post is based at our Lewes Office and you'll be managed by a Housing Officer. A perfect opportunity to be able to train and develop yourself as part of the wider housing team. The role involves property maintenance and housing management functions including property compliance, low level arrears and tenancy management issues and working to a patch of properties.
The post allows working from home, telephoning and visiting tenants in their homes and tailoring solutions to individual tenants.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, customer committed, has some IT skills, has a 'can do' attitude, has current or transferable customer skills and is customer-focused and wants to work in supported housing which is very rewarding.
The post requires you to be a driver with access to a car to drive for work purposes
