Probate Property Team Manager - Leighton Buzzard
Our client is looking for a Probate Team Manager to manage a Nationwide portfolio of properties they oversee on behalf of solicitors and banking institutions.
The properties are managed by teams of Probate Property Consultants whose role it is to carry out initial valuation and appraisals of properties and then move to instructing local estate agents to market and sell the properties. Thereafter the Consultants role is to manage and drive the estate agent's performance, negotiating offers, agreeing sales and progressing the sale through the agents and conveyancers to final completion.
Throughout this process there will be the need to liaise with our corporate clients to
ensure that we are proceeding in line with their Instructions and updating them on
progress at key stages of the transaction. Furthermore, we will be providing regular
reports and updates to the personal representatives (PR's) of the deceased's estate.
The role of the Probate Property Team Manager is to oversee the Probate Property
Consultants, driving the performance of the teams and resolving problems and issues
as they arise. The role will require a fantastic grasp and knowledge of property valuation
and sales, with some experience of managing others.
The Team Manager will be the first point of contact for the teams in relation to training needs and will regularly meet with the team as required around ongoing performance, setting targets and training requirements.
They will also be the initial point of contact for our corporate clients and will be required
to liaise with clients confidently around processes and required services, as well as
attend regular client meeting and carry out training with external clients at their offices.
