My client seeks a professional and commercially minded Management Accountant who is actively looking to develop their finance career. This is a great opportunity to work alongside the Senior Management Accountant and gain direct mentorship in a motivated and professional finance team.
About You
You will be a part or newly qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA Accountant with at least 3 years experience in a similar role. You will have previous experience in the preparation of monthly management accounts, ideally with experience working with SAP or a similar ERP system, and strong Excel skills.
The Role
As the Management Accountant, you will report to the Senior Management Accountant and be accountable for supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and annual budgets.
As a Management Accountant, your role will include, but is not limited to:
- Preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
- Preparation of monthly reports and analysis.
- Reviewing profit & loss and balance sheets.
- Owning the month-end closing process and completing account reconciliations.
- Variance reporting.
- Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
What the Client Offers
- A salary level of £40,000 to £45,000.
