Cover Supervisor
Newstaff are looking for experienced Cover Supervisors to join our team. If you are an Overseas trained teacher, have or started a PGCE, Degree qualified Tutor, have teaching experience... we'd love to hear from you!
Supply cover Supervisors will cover in daily/weekly supply requirements in secondary schools across Dunstable, Luton and Houghton Regis. Longer term or temp to perm roles may be available.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and managing classroom behaviour.
- Delivering preprepared lessons and encouraging student engagement
- Promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Providing support and assistance to students as needed
- Reporting and issues or incidents to leadership team
- Working with the school team to ensure continuity of learning.
Must have:
- Previous experience working in a school or educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and genuine passion working with students.
- Able to manage classroom behaviour.
