Finance Manager- Qualified or QBE

This is a unique, office based role joining an expanding organisation at an exciting time as their newly appointed Finance Manager, reporting into the Head of Finance.

Due to a recent acquisition, the first 4 months of your employment will be based at the site of a newly acquired company in Leeming Bar, followed by a permanent move to their Head Office in Hull.

They are looking for an experienced Qualified or QBE Finance Manager to be responsible for the finances of their newly acquired businesses, while working with the wider team in Hull.

Skills Required:

  • Extensive accounting experience including management accounts, reporting and cashflow forecasting.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • To be able to communicate with colleagues at all levels and be a team player.

As the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Being responsible for the preparation of the management accounts while reporting to strict deadlines.
  • Overseeing banking entries, reconciliations and the raising and timely payment of invoices.
  • Doing the weekly cash flow reporting, fixed asset accounting and assisting with the budget monitoring and preparation.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of the period end accruals and prepayments.
  • Cross functional working with the company departments providing support and analysis of spend and budgets where required.
  • Ownership of KPI calculations.
  • Assist with the annual statutory audit and accounts.

This is a permanent role offering full-time working hours, 37.5 per week. A hybrid working arrangement may be considered for the successful candidate.
