FP&A Accountant

We are currently in search of a skilled FP&A Accountant to undertake a 12-month fixed-term contract with our finance team. The role is suited to individuals who operate their own company and can invoice for services, as this contract falls outside of IR35.
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
- Perform in-depth financial analysis to forecast business, industry, and economic conditions.
- Generate financial reports and provide insights to guide business decisions.
- Oversee the budgeting process, conduct variance analysis, and support strategic financial planning.
- Collaborate with senior management on financial strategy and planning.
- Analyse trends in key performance indicators, including revenue, costs, expenses, and capital expenditures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Proficient in financial reporting software and advanced Excel capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Independent worker with the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
- Preference for candidates who can invoice through their own company.
