Maths Teacher required for leading Independent school in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire - Ongoing role to start in September teaching pupils in key stages 3 and 4
Are you an engaging and professional Maths Teacher looking for a role in a leading Private school in Rickmansworth? Do you have a Maths qualification or experience of teaching Maths to pupils in key stages 3 and 4? Tradewind Secondary are working with a very Academic and Prestigious school to source a Maths teacher on an ongoing basis from September.
Teaching pupils in key stages 3 and 4 you will benefit from fantastic resources, pupils who are engaged and eager to learn and backed by parents who wnat their pupils to achieve. Academically this is a high achieving and well run independent school. We are actively seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join this high achieving team and make a positive impact on our students' mathematical understanding and achievements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging maths lessons to students in KS 3&4
- Continue the schools pursuit of excellence and high academic ability
- Monitor and track students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement
- Benefit from the resources of a well funded, high achieving independent school
- Full time role Monday - Friday 8:30 - 4pm on an ongoing basis from September
- Maintain effective communication with parents, sharing updates on students' progress and achievements
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent experience in Mathematics
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics education
- Experience teaching maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 is desirable
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with students and colleagues
- Innovative and creative approach to inspire students' curiosity and love for maths
