Applications Engineer required for my client who work within instrumentation equipment and metals, based in Crawley, West Sussex.
The applications engineer will be in charge of managing daily activities to provide technical applications support for calibration modification to existing products to enable the team to effectively meet sales targets.
Applications Engineer Position Overview
- Maintain expert level of production knowledge and application.
- Design, develop and implement calibration programs to meet recognised industry specifications.
- Undertake key evaluations for release of new products.
- Plan and manage engineering calibration projects.
- Provide technical support in-house cross departmentally and off-site to customers and distributors.
- When required, support other areas of the business when and where the need arises as directed by senior managers.
Applications Engineer Position Requirements
- Experience working within an applications/ technical support engineering position.
- 2 years or more experience within a technical engineering position.
- Degree qualified within a relevant subject / engineering field.
- Experience within analytical instrumentation.
- Experience in atomic spectroscopy is desirable.
- Based within a commutable distance of Crawley, West Sussex.
- Full UK driving licence.
Applications Engineer Position Remuneration
- Salary - £38,000 to £40,000 (DOE).
- Full time position - Monday and Friday.
- Holiday package - 25 days + bank holidays
