Role Description: We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team in London. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work closely with students, providing essential support in their educational journey.
- Assist in the educational and social development of students under the direction and guidance of the classroom teacher.
- Support the teacher in preparing lesson plans, creating learning materials, and maintaining a positive classroom environment.
- Supervise and support students in both academic and extracurricular activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Foster positive relationships with students, promoting confidence, self-esteem, and mutual respect.
- Encourage active participation and engagement in classroom activities and sports.
- Aid in the management of classroom behavior, supporting students in adhering to the school's policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Enhanced DBS on the update service.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role within an educational setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
- A patient, empathetic, and supportive approach to working with children.
- An interest in promoting physical activities and sports will be an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare are desirable but not essential.
