Part-Time Accounts Assistant (Permanent)

£26,000 - £28,000 - pro-rated
Office-based. 4 x days flexible with hours.
Our highly established client is looking to recruit an additional experienced Accounts
professional to join their small Accounts team.
Duties:
- Processing and reconciling Sales & Purchase Ledger.
- Posting journals.
- Preparing statutory accounts.
- Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.
- Managing petty cash transactions.
- Controlling credit and chasing debt.
- Reconciling finance accounts and direct debits.
- Using Sage and Excel
- Other administration not related to finance.
Required:
- Minimum of 2 years general accounting experience.
- A flexible approach to tasks/work to meet the needs of the business.
- A positive 'can do' attitude.
- Motivated to do an accurate and thorough job.
- Team player.
- Excellent communication and keyboard skills.
- MS Office proficient
- Experienced in using an accounting system such as Sage.
