About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated Social Media Specialist to enhance our online presence and engage with our expanding audience. This role involves working with the Global Head of Marketing on developing and implementing a creative social media strategy that educates, inspires, and connects people with superior skincare solutions. The primary goals are to boost brand visibility and foster greater engagement across all social media platforms. This is the perfect role for someone hungry to prove themselves in a fast paced, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Global Head of Marketing and agency partners to craft and implement a robust content strategy.
  • Plan and schedule content that reflects both short-term and long-term goals, incorporating seasonal trends and industry developments with a variety of media types. Produce and curate high-quality, on-brand content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X. Ensure the content is engaging, inspirational, and reflective of our brand identity.
  • Focus on product storytelling, showcasing clinical data and using testimonials as key content themes. Additional themes include founder profiling.
  • Manage the entire content production process, from copywriting and graphic design to approval and distribution. Write compelling and effective copy that clearly communicates the brand's core values, adjusting tone and voice to suit the target audience and telling engaging stories. Maintain consistency in messaging and brand tone, develop proactive community management strategies, and engage with micro-influencers to expand reach and engagement.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on content performance metrics to internal stakeholders. Continuously refine strategies to maximise engagement and conversion rates.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media, content, or digital marketing.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of social media platforms, including understanding algorithms and staying updated with the latest trends.
  • Strong writing skills to craft compelling and effective copy that aligns with brand voice and tone.
  • Proficiency in using social media analytics tools to track performance, understand trends, and generate reports. Ability to interpret data and adjust strategies based on insights.
  • Skills in engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and fostering a sense of community.
  • Strong creative skills to generate fresh and innovative ideas for content and campaigns.
  • Strong time management and organisational abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing trends, platform updates, and audience preferences.
  • Agile and positive approach to fast moving, changing environment.

A strong interest in beauty/skincare is essential.

Salary: Up to £32k dependant on experience.
