HR Business Partner

Pay rate: £25.87 - £28.57 p/hr, 37 hours a week

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Business Partner to join our prestigious public sector client in Wales until

31st March 2025

  • As a key People Management Specialist, you will lead and support one or more directorates, working closely with Leadership and Management Teams, as well as Executive Directors. Your role will involve taking ownership of delivering quality HR services, driving continuous improvement, and enhancing people management practices across the organisation.

HR Business Partner Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Executive Directors, Leadership Teams, and Management Teams to foster effective working relationships and ensure the delivery of high-quality HR services.
  • Take the lead on specialist HR projects, including change management initiatives, and act as a key influencer with Trade Unions and stakeholders.
  • Provide high-level professional expertise and advice on complex HR issues, acting as the organisation's expert in your specialist area.
  • Influence organisational performance by using data-driven decision-making, effective communication, and proactive engagement to achieve positive, high-impact results.
  • Support the Head of HR and HR Manager in providing advisory services to the Executive Team and Board members.
  • Contribute to the development and interpretation of organisational strategy, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and delivering on the People Strategy and Transformation initiatives.
  • Analyse and communicate complex information to staff at all levels, producing detailed reports and guidance that will inform decision-making.
  • Manage a delegated budget, overseeing the procurement of goods and services, and ensuring the safe and effective use of organisational resources.

Key Qualifications and Knowledge

  • CIPD qualified (Level 7: Advanced) or Chartered Member of the CIPD, or equivalent HR qualification.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in people management legislation and best practices.
  • Experience of working closely with Trade Unions.
  • Proven experience in an advisory capacity, with a strong track record of delivering and evaluating high-quality HR solutions that drive cultural and behavioural change.
  • Experience as a senior people manager in a complex organisational change environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain influential and impactful relationships at all levels within a large, multifaceted organisation.
