- Payroll and basic Finance Duties
FIND is supporting a successful education trust to join their high performing team as a Payroll and Finance Officer. This is a great role that will see the successful candidate carry out day to day processes to ensure the accurate delivery of the payroll service.
This role is based on site, five days a week.
Duties for this position include-
- payroll administration
- acting as the first port of call for all payroll enquiries
- action queries around pay dates, absences and deductions
- support the monthly payroll process
- statutory information recording
- external payroll information submission
- monthly journal postings
- reconciliations of credit cards and expenses
- invoice processing
- support the production of reports
The ideal candidate for this role-
- is happy to undergo professional qualification and development- if not already held
- has experience of working with the Local Government Pension Scheme
- has ideally used Sage Payroll
- has up to date knowledge of payroll deductions legislation
- possesses excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- has ideally worked in school finance and payroll
