Anglian Water's purpose is 'to bring environmental and social prosperity to the region we serve through our commitment to Love Every Drop'. As a company the focus is on enshrining purpose in everything we do including a change to the company's Articles of Association, legally enshrining public interest within the constitutional make-up of the business. This is important because increasingly people (customers) want companies to deliver not just for shareholders but for the environment and communities too.

The roles are responsible for managing a strategic, proactive approach to stakeholder and community engagement and consultation for the Project's assuring that all stakeholders are engaged through the relevant planning process (Development Consent Order for Cambridge Relocation Project and Town & Contract EIA for Strategic Interconnectors) and beyond are engaged, updated, and resolutions found; ensuring that the Community Liaison Plan is implemented and continues to be owned by both projects through the enabling stage and beyond.

It is essential for the roles to own the strategy and plan to build support for the projects through proactive engagement to inform good design, planning, construction and handover, ensuring scheme success.
