Assistant Accountant

Salary up to £35,000
I am currently working with a great local candidate looking to appoint an assistant accountant who is available at short notice.
The business is well established and continuing to grow, you will be working closely with a fantastic Financial Director assisting across all finance duties.

Daily Duties:
- Oversee end to end Payroll
- Processing SMP, Pension payments and overtime
- Posting journal and transactions onto SAP
- Credit Control duties
- Attending finance meetings with FD / MD
- Daily banking duties
- Month End duties – Accruals / Prepayments
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Short term cashflow
Personal Profile:
- Payroll / Accounts experience essential
- AAT qualified
- Hands on and keen to develop
