A renowned UK charity, supporting many of the most vulnerable people in society is in need of a new Finance Operations Manager to take over the management of the Finance Operations team encompassing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Treasury. This role will report into the Finance Director and as well as managing a team of three direct reports and more indirect reports, will focus on driving improvement of systems and processes. It will pay up to £65,000 per annum pro rata and can be performed largely remotely, with occasion London working required. It is a part time role, up to three days per week.
As the Financial Operations Manager your role will involve:
- Leading a team of three direct and other indirect reports, including an AP Manager, AR Manager and Treasury Manager
- Ensuring the team is motivated and performing to the requirements of the operation
- Driving the improved use of systems
- Managing the weekly BACS payment run
- Assisting with financial accounting duties
The ideal candidate for the Finance Operations Manager will:
- Be experienced managing large finance transactional teams
- Have experience in all areas of transactional finance
- Be a champion of systems and having strong processes in place
- Be passionate about supporting the most vulnerable people in society
