Your new role
This is a specialist role focused on revenue accounting, within the housing sector. Would suit an individual who has expertise in this area and is seeking a good work / life balance. Duties in the role include :
- Business partnering with non-finance stakeholders
- Preparation and monitoring of monthly budget monitoring reports
- Provide financial advice, produce financial and management reports
- Completion of grant claims and statistical returns
- Providing financial advice and support in addition to owning ad-hoc projects.
- Authorise reports for financial implications
- Opportunity to take ownership of the revenue accounting aspects of the finance team
What you'll need to succeed
Prior experience of Housing Revenue, ideally gained in a local government or housing provider organisation.Ideally fully CCAB qualified, applications are also welcomed from qualified by experience candidates, with housing revenue experienceThere is a good element of business partnering in this role, so suitable applicants will enjoy building internal relationships with non-finance staff and leadership teams.

High element of home working available, expectation of approx 2 to 4 days a month in office, once established in role
