Who we need?

We are looking for workshop and classroom engineering lecturers with knowledge in either or both Machining (specifically milling, turning and CNC), Maintenance, Fabrication and welding, A-level Math's and Mechanical engineering. Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Writing schemes of work and preparing lesson plans
  • CAD experience would be beneficial
  • The ability to confidently challenge behaviours and monitor attendance
  • Qualified to Level 5 in Education, though we are able to provide educational training up to level 5 if not currently held

What you'll bring

We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate engineering lecturers who will inspire learners to achieve and reach their full potential during their time at Nottingham College. The critical and essential skills required for the role are:

  • Preferred industry experience
  • Enthusiastic to teaching across multiple levels
  • Excellent communication skills across varying levels of learners and colleague
  • Good depth of knowledge in your speciality

Interviews are planned for: week commencing 01 July 2024 (Interview and 15-minute micro teach on speciality)
