Process Improvement - Flex AMZL, Amazon Flex

We are seeking a Process Improvement, to streamline and elevate our processes based in London or Dunstable, to drive process improvement and optimization within the Amazon Flex business. The Process Improvement specialist will be strong with data, automation tools and SQL/Python to automate our processes and increase our efficiency to enable us to deliver bigger results.Amazon Flex works directly with independent contractors – called delivery partners (DPs) – to make deliveries to our customers. With Amazon Flex, individuals can be their own boss delivering Amazon packages. Amazon Flex is powered by a mobile app that works in concert with our advanced logistics systems that allows delivery partners to on-board, schedule delivery times, guide them through their deliveries with in-app mapping and navigation, and more. The approach and technology are disruptive and promise to challenge traditional approaches, changing the way the industry operates. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, passionate, analytical and detail-oriented, possess superior interpersonal and communication skills, and be comfortable working independently to drive growth and change in a fast-paced environment. An extreme bias for action and being with data is an absolute must, and candidates must demonstrate a track record of delivering results.Key job responsibilitiesFind opportunities to automate and optimize existing Amazon Flex processes. This includes, but not limited to, our scheduling, labor planning, routing and forecasting.Identify new opportunities to experiment and pilot new programs, create new tools and reporting to drive business results. This will be done through leveraging your skills with data, building of tools through Excel, Python, SQL, and more and driving long-term automation with tech teams to scale initiatives WW.Partnering with WW Flex teams to understand common challenges to adopt standard practice and identify opportunities to collaborate with tech teams to build automated tooling and solutions to hand off our processes.A day in the lifeAs a Process Improvement Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of making Amazon's logistics better – which means improving safety, productivity, and quality. Part of your role will involve running observations and audits to identify where processes could be enhanced. Another part of your role will be recommending changes and using your project management and stakeholder management skills to put new processes in place. You'll be based at one of our sites and accountable for positively influencing operational efficiency at the site. If needed, you will carry out analysis at other local or national sites. On top of dealing with productivity and safety, you'll have the opportunity to share best practices and ideas with our EU network. In this role, you'll use data to drive improvements and continue to grow our shipping capabilities. About the team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- A degree- Advanced data-related skills including Excel, Python, SQL.- Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions. - Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership - Valid Full UK Driving License. - Advanced proficiency in document writing.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Degree in business, supply chain, transportation, economics or a technical field. - Experience manipulating and presenting data with Excel.- Experience in Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen techniques - Experience with supporting tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, MS Access).
