The Role:
As an Accounts Assistant, you'll be at the heart of the financial operations. You'll support the finance department with day-to-day accounting tasks, gain exposure to a variety of responsibilities, and play a key role in ensuring smooth financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with purchase and sales ledger activities
- Preparing and processing invoices
- Reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies
- Supporting the month-end and year-end financial processes
- Liaising with internal teams and suppliers to ensure accurate financial data
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records

What You'll Bring:
- A passion for finance with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent numerical and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Previous experience in a similar role or a finance-related qualification (AAT Level 2 or higher desirable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Sage or similar)
