The Role:
As an Accounts Assistant, you'll be at the heart of the financial operations. You'll support the finance department with day-to-day accounting tasks, gain exposure to a variety of responsibilities, and play a key role in ensuring smooth financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with purchase and sales ledger activities
  • Preparing and processing invoices
  • Reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Supporting the month-end and year-end financial processes
  • Liaising with internal teams and suppliers to ensure accurate financial data
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records

What You'll Bring:

  • A passion for finance with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent numerical and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Previous experience in a similar role or a finance-related qualification (AAT Level 2 or higher desirable)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Sage or similar)
