Our client, a leader in the International Insurance Broking market have seen tremendous growth and due to investment are hiring talent across the UK. The Guildford branch are part of this and a new exciting role for an Insurance Account Handler has become available within their speciality Real Estate (Property Owners) team.
Working within a team of specialists you will be responsible for servicing existing and new policy holders with renewals, new business quotes, MTA processing and assisting with general enquiries.
You will broke your policies by Acturis and presentations and will have the use of an internal Underwriting team within the same branch to help you secure the policy.
Policies will mostly be residential premises, however clients can include Managing Agents / Blocks of Flats, whereby you will get exposure to working on contract work insurance too!
Between the team you will all manage an average of 150 clients each month and will work on policies valuing anywhere from £100 - £20,000.
The workloads and client requested can be high so the role will require you to be able to work efficiently, timely but most important of all it is about building relationships with your policyholders.
Experience:
- Property Owners, Home or combined Personal Lines broking experience
- Success in achieving high retention results
- Acturis trained would be ideal, however not essential
- Strong administrative/organisation skills
- Cert CII, working towards OR willing to study towards
