Solicitor ( Contracts and procurement)
Fully remote
£25 per hour (umbrella)
Full Time Contract (3-6 months)
Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Contracts Solicitor on a fully remote basis. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.
The job:
- To give legal procedural and propriety advice to senior officers, elected members or other persons or bodies
- To assist in the investigation of complaints, particularly in relation to issues raised with the Ombudsman, any Inspectorate, or the Monitoring Officer
- Look to continuously improve services in area of responsibility, identifying where possible, value for money savings and ways of managing within allocated budgets
- Remain up to date and compliant with all relevant legislation, organisational procedures, policies and professional codes of conduct
The candidate:
- A qualified Solicitor or Barrister with relevant post qualification experience
- Knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts is essential
- At least 3 years of PQE
