Job Description:

As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in providing financial insights and support to drive strategic decision-making within the company. You will be responsible for preparing financial reports, analysing data, and ensuring that our financial practices are robust and compliant with regulations. Your expertise will help shape the financial direction of the company and contribute to our overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Analyse financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to management.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and control.
  • Monitor and manage company cash flow, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
