Position: Part-Time Sociology Teacher (KS3 and KS4)

Location: Romford

Salary: £34,000 - £46,000

Are you a dedicated and passionate Sociology Teacher looking for a part-time opportunity in a supportive educational environment? We are an Ofsted rated Good school in Romford, seeking a talented Sociology Teacher to join our team and teach Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Sociology lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that stimulate interest and enhance student understanding of sociological concepts.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and initiatives to promote a love of Sociology within the school community.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Sociology or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Sociology at secondary school level is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
