Year 3 Teacher (Part-time, Job Share)
Location: Primary school based in Romford, London
Salary: M1 - M6 (Outer London)
Job Type: Part-time, Job Share (2 days per week Mon & Tue)
Reed Education is looking for a passionate and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join a dynamic and inclusive primary school community in Romford. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum, focusing on RE, PHSE, Citizenship, phonics, and early mathematics.
- Develop and implement individual education plans for students, especially those with special educational needs, ensuring full inclusion.
- Assess, record, and report on student progress and attainment.
- Support the overall progress and well-being of individual students and the class.
- Provide educational and social guidance to students, including advice on future education and careers.
- Communicate and collaborate with parents, carers, and external professionals.
- Participate in meetings, staff development, training, and review sessions as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with recent and relevant professional development.
- Proven teaching experience with diverse socio-economic backgrounds and learning needs.
- Strong understanding of curriculum management and child development.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in IT and a willingness to integrate technology into teaching.
- Ability to maintain high standards of student behaviour and achievement.
