Part time - Hours: Up to 20 per week
Salary: £35,000 per annum pro rata
Reporting to The Chair and General Manager you be responsible for the overall running of the finance function. You will have 1 direct report, and will be responsible for overseeing their work, training and development.

Key Responsibilities
- Providing financial oversight to the organisation
- Line management responsibilities for 1 team member
- Reviewing monthly payroll
- Production of monthly management accounts with analysis for review and discussion by the Board at regular meetings
- Managing contracts to ensure income is drawn down in a timely and efficient manner
- Managing the annual budgeting and business planning cycle
- Managing ongoing services including VAT, audit, banking and investments
- Ensuring statutory financial responsibilities and reporting requirements are met
- Managing production of annual accounts through liaison with Auditors
- Responsibility for ensuring the organisation is following appropriate UK tax, accounting and other appropriate legislation
- Monitoring, reviewing and managing key risks affecting theorganisation
- Improving processes and systems and driving a value for money culture
- Financial aspects of grant applications
Key Skills
- Experience in a senior financial role and should include payroll and pension management
- Excellent Communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders
- Confidence to represent the organisation at meetings
- An analytical and strategic thinker with demonstrable experience of planning, prioritising and achieving targets and delivering to deadlines.
Qualifications
- A recognised financial accounting qualification such as AAT, CIMA, ACCA and experience of using Xero accounting software
