Randstad Education is currently working with a school that is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher who has experience teaching across the EYFS.

Situated in Ivybridge, this primary school has a high intake of learners. With lovely staff who are always on hand to support and develop each person they take on, it shows the level of commitment in providing that inclusive environment where learners can thrive.

The ideal Primary Teacher will be fluent in English, have a good understanding of the UK curriculum, have excellent classroom management skills, and be able to differentiate learning to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, organise, and present interesting lessons that follow the UK curriculum.
  • Modify instruction to better suit the needs of a variety of students.
  • Use efficient teaching techniques that incorporate active learning
  • Strategies for managing behaviour that work.
  • Encourage a welcoming and upbeat atmosphere in the classroom.
  • Have excellent communication with parents, staff, and students.
  • Adjust to the shifting requirements of a multicultural student body.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (must have).
  • Proven experience as a Primary Teacher in a UK educational setting.
  • Familiarity with the UK curriculum.
  • Must provide 2 professional references.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS on update serview (Willing to get one).
  • Excellent behaviour management skills.
  • A positive outlook and a proactive approach to problem:solving.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
